Philly Art October 2018

On the Delaware Waterfront in Philadelphia there is an old pier that is getting a new life as the host for various artists and cultural events.  It was newly opened so the complex was not at full capacity.  You will be able to get a tattoo, make origami, write a poem, dance, enjoy an artistic video, or even try a see-saw.  My plans for the day did not include this day trip to Philly so I did not bring my good camera and my phone camera is very low level but I liked the photos despite the lack of high resolution.  In fact the poor quality is like a type of artistic effect.

Cute tiny house boat on the Delaware.  There were several at the marina that you could tell were used as living quarters more so than sailing the Delaware.

We tried for lunch at Magpies but they were closed....It was Monday but we walked around  and found the Magic Gardens not far from South Street. .  There was a 10 dollar entrance fee but we enjoyed what was free to see in the neighborhood.  Artist Isiah Zagar is a mosaic maniac who teams up with his wife Julia.  Map shows the site of the artwork and the museum.
